Okay, so here's the deal with the pics I promissed. Even though I have this here blog, doesn't mean I know how to do some other simple stuff like transfer pics from someone elses camera (which by the way, are the cooler pictures), but...this here is what I got....

This is me...partially dressed for my first day of school!
(hot hot hot)

Here is a yummy dinner I made....umm, pasta, tomatoes, basil, and chicken I think.

Here is a beautiful sunset over a bookstore!

Here is a frog on the window molding that is next to our front door.

And here is the super yummy upside down peach cake I made, it lasted 3 whole days.

So thats what I gots for y'all...right now in school we are learning about foodborne illnesses and how they are transfered...nothing those of you who want to patronize restaurants and not own them want to really know...all I can say is........

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AND SUPER DUPER PLEASE, REMEMBER TO ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER .....EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well have a loveleigh rest of your day, and weekend, more to come later, and I will have a full uniform shot in a couple days or so....I hope.

It is the night before my first day of culinary school, and I am crazy, excited, terrified, not tired enough to sleep, anxiety ridden, and a little short of breath. My uniform is pressed, I have a notebook, I need a high-lighter pen and some sharp pencils, but other than that I think I will be prepared. Tuesday I guess will be the day that I do a major update and include the much promised pictures. Right now I am going to do some light reading, and try to fall asleep...and get some sleep before I have to be at school at 7:30 am...
7:30 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must be crazy.

wish me luck ;)

Got my school uniform today. Will post pics later. I originally thought the program was going to take two years to complete...but that is not the case. During orientation today I was informed that I will be finished in twelve to fifteen months. Super high speed schooling works for me. The sooner I can get through the program, the sooner I can get my internship over with, and the sooner I can open my own restaurant. My goal is 2 to 3 years. I think that is a fairly realistic time frame. Still not sure if Orlando Florida is where my chow spot is going to make its home, but one thing for sure, this town is in some serious need of a hole in the wall, yummy good eats, NOT A FRIGGIN' CHAIN, local place to hang!!!!!!!!

That's all for now folks, stuffed tomato with pesto grilled shrimp pics, and me in my new sexy uniform coming soon.

chow for now,
Leigh
